Mr. Brice Mertz

Mr. Mertz teaches Advanced Placement Calculus AB and BC as well as Algebra1 Honors. He graduated from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas in 1987 with a B.B.A. in Finance. Mr. Mertz started his teaching career in New Caney ISD where he taught for 9 years. He then moved to the Texas Hill Country and has been with Boerne ISD for the past 17 years. His wife Susan Mertz teaches 5th grade at Herff Elementary and both of his children have attended Boerne High School. Jacob graduated from BHS in 2008 and Elle graduated from  BHS in 2021.
