Mrs. Kelly Summers

Mrs. Summers teaches 8th & 7th-grade History.  She has been educating students since 2011 and absolutely LOVES what she does!  She graduated from the University of Houston with a major in History and a minor in English. She earned her Masters in Teacher Leadership in 2020.  She and her husband, of 30 years, have raised two wonderful married children.  Their son, Ty, plays linebacker for the Greenbay Packers. Their daughter, Faith, was a collegiate golfer at SMU and is now teaching middle school science & coaching golf.  In 2021, she welcomed her first grandchild, Paxton Christian Summers, into the family.  Besides family & teaching, her passions include old movies, reading historical novels, traveling to historical sites, organizing, and studying nutrition.
