Mrs. Tanessa Sawyer

This will be Mrs. Sawyer's third year in Boerne ISD.  She will be teaching Principles of Ag, Wildlife and Livestock Mangement. 

Mrs. Sawyer has a diverse background in education including teaching Geometry/PreAP Geometry and Project Lead the Way Engineering Classes at her prior schools. As well as being a Head volleyball coach for 15 years. She feels called to teaching and LOVES what she does!

She has a degree in Agricultural Leadership Development from Texas A&M University and has been very involved with FFA in the past including being the State FFA President in 1996-97 and working for National FFA doing Made For Excellence conferences throughtout college.  She was raised on registered Brangus ranches and has a love for all agriculture!  

She lives in Bergheim with her husband, Brett (who also teaches and coaches at BHS) and her 4 daughters Kinsley (13), Keira (11), Kamdyn (8), and Khloe(3).  She loves spending time with her family, working on her family's land, working out and reading!
