Mrs. Jennifer Partin
2022-2023 School Year - Mrs. Partin is teaching 7th Grade Mathematics and 8th Grade Algebra 1 Honors. She is also our UIL Coordinator for Voss Middle School, along with coaching 3 math events.
Mrs. Partin is in her 20th year of teaching Middle School and High School Mathematics and her 3rd year in Boerne ISD. Mrs. Partin has taught a variety of mathematics subject areas including Middle School math 6th - 8th, High School Algebra 1 & 2, Geometry, and Financial Literacy. She has two years of experience as an academic mathematics coach working with teachers on curriculum, lesson planning, hands on activities, technology, and providing extra support in the classroom. Mrs. Partin also has two year's experience as a math department coordinator and team leader for the grade level.
She has 20 years of experience as a UIL Mathematics Coach competing in Number Sense, Mathematics, and Calculator Competitions in Middle School and High School. She has 8 years of experience as a MathCounts Coach taking students to math competitions where her teams have placed 2nd at regionals and have made it to the state three times.
Mrs. Partin attended Southwest Texas State University, earning her Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies with Mathematics and a Minor in Business Administration.
When she is not teaching in the classroom, Mrs. Partin enjoys cheering on her daughter, who plays softball for the Texas Bombers organization, and her son, who plays s. Her daughter will be a Freshman at Boerne High School and her son will be a 6th at Voss Middle School. They are the joy of her life. Mrs. Partin also enjoys attending her students' extracurricular activities, traveling, the outdoors, fishing and hunting, going to the beach and spending time with family and friends.
