About Mrs. Hubbard

Mrs. Hubbard graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University in 1991. She had multiple jobs before settling in her career as an educator. She worked in management in the retail industry for several years and she was a Securtiies Trust Officer in banking for 4 years. Mrs. Hubbard has been teaching for 18 years and she is starting her 7th year with Boerne ISD at Boerne Middle School North. Mrs. Hubbard has taught at all secondary levels.
Mrs. Hubbard enjoys working collaboratively with her colleagues as the Co-President of BCTA (Boerne Classroom Teachers Association), an ATPE Campus Rep, CTE Vertical Team member, IGC member and Calendar Committee member. She also serves her colleagues and students as the CTE Department Chair, the UIL Coach for Poetry, a member of the Student Council Faculty Committee and as the FCCLA Sponsor.
Mrs. Hubbard currently teaches FACS of Life, Human Services and College & Career Readiness. These classes are offered to 7th and 8th graders.
She is happily married to her husband, Blake of 26 years and she has two adult children, Jacob and Justin. Favorite things Mrs. Hubbard enjoys when not teaching are photography, gardening, scrapbooking and spending time with family.
