Hi everyone! I can’t believe this is my 13th year at BHS. Previously, I have worked in pediatric oncology. I am passionate about working with children and teens. They bring so much joy to my life.
I grew up in Cypress, Texas, and attended Texas A&M University- whoop!!! Then I graduated from the University of Texas School of Nursing. My first job as a new nurse was at MD Anderson pediatrics floor. I was hooked on kids from that moment on!
I have lived in Boerne since 1994. I have 2 grown sons and my first grandchild, Lily, was born in March 2023.
I love to sing and I sing with the San Antonio Mastersingers. We are the chorus for the San Antonio Symphony. I am also on the worship team at St. Helena’s Episcopal Church.
I have taken up golf and I love it! I’m getting better.
Nurse’s Notes
My vision is that all students are healthy, safe and ready to learn.
Please contact me if your student has a health condition that might affect his/her performance while at school.
Medications at school
If your student needs OTC medication while on campus, I must have the med permission slip completed and signed by the parent.
Prescription meds need the MD signature as well as the parent's. Then bring that permission slip in with a bottle of medication,
Call me with questions.

Campus Behavior Coordinator
-
Under the requirements of Senate Bill 107, 84th legislature, TEC 37.0012, each campus must have a staff member designated as the Campus Behavior Coordinator. As a District of Innovation, BISD has opted to designate each administrator as a campus behavior coordinator.
BISD works collaboratively to determine discipline and ensure students are supported emotionally and socially in a restorative discipline approach. You may contact any of the administrators listed on this page by email or phone if you have any questions or concerns.
