Ms. Allison Bendas

Allison Bendas is a 9th grade AP Human Geography teacher and 12th grade Government teacher at Boerne High School. This year, she will also be an assistant coach for the volleyball and softball programs.

Ms. Bendas attended Texas A&M University, receiving a Bachelor's of Arts in History, as well as a Master's of Education in Curriculum & Instruction. She also plans to return to A&M to pursue a doctoral degree in the future. She is excited to continue using her coaching experience to better the programs at Boerne High School, and further prepare young female athletes for success at the varsity level of competition.

Ms. Bendas has always wanted to be a teacher. Growing up with a twin, she enjoyed helping teach her sister throughout school and chose to follow that passion for helping people learn. During her sixth year in Boerne ISD, Ms. Bendas is looking forward to growing within a community that supports and encourages students to learn and pursue their passions both in the classroom and out.

For all of my students, course information, announcements (weekly agendas), assignments, and all resources will be posted to each class's Google Classroom. Please have students check there for all course inquiries. Grades will also be posted in Skyward, which has a user-friendly website and even a mobile app, so parents can monitor their student's grades and assignments on the go. Students are recommended to install phone apps for these websites, so they can monitor progress easily outside of school.
